Director not seeking re-election  
  
Mr Ian Watson has advised the board of IFL that he will not be seeking 
re-election at the forth coming Annual General Meeting ("Meeting") of the 
company on 12 November 2009. Accordingly Mr Watson will retire as a director at 
the conclusion of the Meeting and the resolution for his re-election will not be 
put to the Meeting.  
  
The board of IFL would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Watson for his 
time as a director which has seen the company grow into an integrated chromite 
mine and ferrochrome processing operation and wish him all the best for his 
future endeavours.  
  
The board of IFL has begun the search process for an independent non executive 
director who will satisfy the criteria for independence as set out in the 
Combined Code on Corporate Governance
