Appointment of Director
London, 16 November 2007 - International Ferro Metals Limited (LSE: IFL), the integrated ferrochrome producer, wishes to advise that Mr Ronald Barnard has been appointed a Director of the Company.
Mr Barnard, a metallurgical engineer with a Masters Degree in Business Leadership, joined IFMSA in January 2003 from ASA Metals’ Dilokong Chrome Mine. He was responsible for the commissioning of their ferrochrome smelter and for increasing productivity at their mine. He has over 20 years of ferrochrome experience including working at Consolidated Metallurgical Industries and Samancor smelters. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Mr Barnard owns 3, 33,334 shares, 3, 33,333 unlisted options and 4, 50,000 phantom options in IFL.
