International Ferro Metals (IFM) aims to be one of the world’s low cost ferrochrome producers through the use of latest mining technology and integrated mine and processing plants.

Further to the announcement on 23 January 2008, International Ferro Metals Limited (LSE: IFL), the integrated ferrochrome producer, confirms the following in respect of David Kovarsky, Managing Director designate.

No disclosure is necessary in respect of Mr Kovarsky as required by Listing Rule 9.6.13 other than as listed below:

Mr Kovarsky is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Randgold & Exploration Company Limited (JSE: RSE).

Mr Kovarsky was a director of Meteor Press (Pty) Limited, a South African company which entered into voluntary liquidation in 1997. Following the company’s winding up, there was an estimated shortfall to creditors of c.ZAR1 million (c.£72,000 at current exchange rates).
